My Story

Why I built these apps — and why I keep building them.

I've lived with tinnitus for many years. I know how isolating it can be, and how hard it can make everyday life — the constant ringing, the difficulty sleeping, the mental fatigue of trying to push through it.

I also saw how difficult it was for my family to communicate with me in noisy places. Conversations that should have been simple became exhausting. I missed things. I felt disconnected.

So I started building. Not because I had a grand business plan, but because I needed tools that didn't exist — or existed in forms that were too complicated, too expensive, or just not right.

Why these apps?

Every app in the Burotec family solves a problem I've faced personally. Tinnitus Masker helps me sleep. HearingUS helps me hear conversations in noisy places. HearingPal helps the people around me communicate with me more easily.

These aren't apps built by a team of product managers chasing metrics. They're built by someone who uses them every day, who genuinely cares whether they work, and who listens to the people using them.

What drives me

The messages I receive from people around the world — telling me an app helped them sleep for the first time in months, or follow a conversation at a family dinner — those are what keep me going.

I believe accessibility software should be affordable, simple, and built with real empathy. That's what I'm trying to build. Every update, every new app, every decision comes back to that.

"These apps have genuinely changed my daily life. I can sleep better, join conversations again, and feel less stressed."
